Visit Gatorland for a Real Thrill!

For nearly half a century, people have been visiting gator attractions in Florida. Now they can visit what is billed as the Alligator Capital of the World. The place is Gatorland.

Gatorland has hundreds of gators and is a major player in the conservation and protection of these primitive animals. In addition to the alligators, visitors can see crocodiles as well.

One of the great success stories for Gatorland is their breeding program. Through their efforts, not only are the alligators kept in abundance, but some endangered species are also helped along. This includes the Cuban Crocodile. One of the main attractions in the park is the Breeding Marsh. This is a natural Cypress swamp where the majority of the animals live. A scenic wooden boardwalk takes visitors to within snapping distance of these scaly residents. Visitors are also welcome to climb to the top of the observation tower for an incredible view of the park and surrounding area.

But there is much more to do at Gatorland. Visitors should not miss the Up Close Animal Encounters Show, which features snakes, spiders and other creepy crawlers. The Gator Wrestling Show will thrill even the most stoic visitor. Visitors can have photos taken around the park as well.

Gatorland is located next to a Cypress swamp, and offers visitors a miniature railway, an incredible swamp walk and photo opportunities that you will not find elsewhere. These include having your picture taken with baby gators and even a live boa constrictor.

It is true there is a lot to see and do when visiting Orlando, Florida, but you would be hard pressed to find an attraction quite like this one. This is a unique opportunity to do something you will never forget. And with your photos in the park, you can prove to your familiy and friends that you really did it!
