All About Orlando

The Florida Aquarium is located in Tampa Bay, so it is a short trip from Orlando. Come and find out why this aquarium is in the top ten aquariums rated by TripAdvisor and in the top five rated by Parents Magazine.

This 1,000,000 gallon, kid friendly aquarium will be a great addition to your central Florida vacation. Make sure you take the day and fully explore all of the exhibits that feature the creatures that love the water.

You will not run out of things to see and do while discovering all that is in store with galleries like:

• Wetlands – Get up close and personal with alligators and river otters as you see them in their natural habitat.
• Bays & Beaches – Witness the over 20,000 aqua plants as you find all of the creatures that are native to FL and many from around the world.
• Coral Reef – Here you can truly swim with the fishes or dive with the sharks in one of the aquarium’s interactive programs. Also, don’t miss the penguin parade where you can hang out with the penguins without borders or walls!

Your head will be swimming with all the things to discover and explore. This incredible aquarium is for children of all ages. Their hours are 9:30am – 5:00pm, daily with the exception of holidays. They do ask that you do not bring food and drink from the outside. There are two different eating establishments, for your convenience:

• Café Ray – Cafeteria style with all of your favorite foods to eat
• Tampa Tribune Caribbean Cantina – A full service bar and grill where you can sit and relax while having something to eat.
