Orlando to Host International Aquatic Fitness Conference

Orlando, Florida is always hosting unique and interesting events. For those interested in fitness or the future of fitness, Orlando will be the site of the International Aquatic Fitness Conference (IAFC) which is being hosted by the Aquatic Exercise Association (AEA).

The new 2008 conference will include some of the world’s finest and most experienced aquatic fitness presenters. These instructors will be coming from all over the world and include such notable names as Ian Levia from Trinidad & Tobago, Nino Aboarrage from Brazil, Silvia Senati from Italy, and Steph Toogood from the UK.

You can join hundreds of other participants from more than 20 countries in Orlando, Florida from May 13-17, 2008. You can enjoy a whole day of in-depth pre-conference programming on Wednesday. The planned courses are all designed to help you expand your career potential with various topics such as Aqua PiYoChi (mind/body), The Art of Cueing (teaching skills), Aquatic Options (post rehab fitness) and many others.

The conference is set for Thursday through Saturday with specific tracks offered daily, and more than 100 sessions overall. You can attend sessions taught by Len Kravitz, Pauline Ivens, Craig Stuart, Karen Westfall and many more.

Attendees will also benefit from the IAFC Exhibit Hall which will be featuring the latest hot music, smart clothes, and aquatic fitness equipment as well as other industry products. The Innovations Research Center helps attendees by providing current information on aquatic fitness through posters, learning sessions, information lectures, and computer labs.

The IAFC includes buffet lunches for attendees and a Friday evenijng awards dinner. There will also be an exciting international costume party. The event will take place in the Wyndham Orlando Resort, located on International Drive. This is within walking distance of many restaurants, shopping venues and many of Orlando’s major entertainment attractions.
