Orlando Ranks High Among Travelers
The Orlando Sentinel is reporting that according to a survey just released by Carlson Wagonlit Travel Associates, Orlando is the second most popular vacation destination among U. S. travelers for the fall, just behind Las Vegas.
With Florida playing host to 84 million visitors last year alone, it’s obvious that the upcoming fall and winter seasons are going to be a busy time for tourism in Orlando. If you’re thinking of taking the family to Disney World or Universal Studios in the next few months, now is the time to book your accommodations.
If you’re trying to stick to a budget, consider staying in a vacation rental home or condo rather than a hotel or resort. These homes offer more space and privacy than a hotel, and have the added benefits of a private pool, and a kitchen for preparing your own meals ( and thus saving money on dining out ).
