Orlando Florida Updates
It seems as if something new is happening in Orlando, Florida every day. And there is some truth to that. Orlando is a city that keeps growing and adding as it attracts visitors from across the globe.
Here are just a few of the ever-changing attractions to Orlando.
SeaWorld in Orlando has added a water park, Aquatica. This exciting park offers 36 water slides, six rivers and lagoons, animal encounters and underwater adventures. The recent press for this new addition has been very positive.
The Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park has recently added a new stage show called “High School Musical 2: School’s Out!”. The show is based on the very popular Disney Channel’s hit teen movie. Very soon the park will also open up its 3-D ride, “Toy Story Mania!” Later this year, an attraction based on “American Idol” is planned.
At the beginning of the year, Universal debuted “Disaster!: A Major Motion Picture Ride….Starring You!” This amazing ride takes guests on a tour of a low-budget studio and includes a simulated earthquake scene with pyrotechnics and water thrills galore.
In 2009, Universal will add the high-tech “Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit” roller coaster and the much anticipated “Wizarding World of Harry Potter”.
Want to spend some time with “The Simpsons”? Universal plans a grand opening for “The Simpsons Ride” on May 15, and an identical ride will open at Universal Hollywood in California two days later.
Original animation is featured outside the attraction for those waiting in line. Funny gags include Sideshow Bob escaping from prison to sabotage the theme park, a “safety video” starring those strange folks Itchy and Scratchy, and some scenes from Krusty’s park.
As mentioned earlier, these are but a few of the many new attractions popping up in Orlando. Visitors should do some online searching to make sure that they have the latest updates to all of the new and wonderful attractions that make up Orlando, Florida.
