Old Town Kissimmee
There’s more than one place to find some good old fashion family fun in Florida. Sure there’s Disney, and Epcot, but if you’re looking to beat the crowds, and spend a fun-filled day with the family, head on over to Old Town in Kissimmee for loads of fun all in one place.
Old Town has got rides for the little kids and rides for the big ones as well. For the brave-at-heart there is the Windstorm Roller Coaster with 1,437 feet of twists and turns and 80-degree banks, the Century Ferris Wheel that lets you get a birds-eye-view from 60 feet in the air, and much more. The younger ones will enjoy the Merry-Go-Round, the Tea Cups and the Wacky Kiddie Coaster. There’s also the Happy Days Family Go-Kart Track.
Are cars your thing? Then you’ll want to stop in for The Saturday Night Cruise. It’s the largest weekly car cruise in America. Come check out over 300 classic cars, hot rods, street rods and antique cars. There’s also a Friday Night Cruise Night and a Thursday Night Bike Night.
Old Town in Kissimmee has got live music, free concerts, Latin Sundays, and more than 70 shops for shopping at the emporium. There are foods of all kinds that will please the pallet, no matter their age. Enjoy some fine dining or kick back and enjoy a more casual dining experience. Choose from a variety of ethnic foods as well. You name it, Old Town’s got it.
There are also special event like Old Town’s New Year’s Eve Street Party, and the Firefighter’s Combat Challenge.
The parking is free, the admission is free, and the fun is everywhere. Stop in at Old Town in Kissimmee if you’re in the Orlando area. You’ll be sorry you missed it if you don’t.
