All About Orlando

Visitors to Orlando, Florida will be pleased to know that new venues and attractions are opening up for their pleasure. Next on line to open in March of 2008 is the fantastic Orlando Aquatica Park. There will be several events and ceremonies incorporated with the new opening so visitors should check local sources for dates and times.

The Aquatica is a 59 acre theme park and its opening ceremonies will begin during the month of March, with its grand opening scheduled for early April. During the month of March a huge array of events are scheduled to get the attention of those visiting the Orlando area.

The new Aquatica theme park is reportedly the first full sized theme park area to open in Orlando since 2000 when Discovery Cove opened. Visitors will find travel to the theme park easy and convenient.

Of particular interest to many visitors to Aquatica is the theme. It will revolve around a South Pacific theme and it has been reported that the park will easily be able to accommodate up to 16,000 visitors at a time. This will make the park the highest capacity water park in the state of Florida.

The park will include some fantastic venues including animal shows, slides, pools of all types, and attractive tropical landscape areas and themes. In addition, Aquatica will also contain a massive 80,000 square foot beach where visitors can stretch out and relax while enjoying the wonderful surroundings and weather of Orlando. There will also be food, beverages, and gift shops available for visitors and their guests.

Also, in addition to the opening of the Aquatica Park, some new venues as well as some new attractions are scheduled to open in Busch Gardens in April. Busch Gardens will be one of Aquatica’s sister parks.
