Orlando, Florida is famous for its many theme parks, but there is a lot more to do and see than that. Some of the more popular attractions in Orlando include many museums, markets, historic churches, and other attractions.

From traditional fare to exotic cuisine, it would be hard to not find exactly what you are looking for. The shopping in Orlando is world famous with some of the very best selection on many items, both regional and international.
Have you ever wondered what an 18,000 gallon aquarium looked like? Now you can see one. Your kids will love this massive aquarium and it can be found right on International Drive at the Outdoor World specialty store. Outdoor World is located in one of the largest stores in Florida and it can take a whole day just to meander through it. If you are looking for low cost fun, this is just one idea.
Animal lovers will flip over the Central Florida Zoological Park in Sanford. This park has been around since 1975 and contains a collection of over 400 animals. The park is actually a privately owned space that is dedicated to the protection of exotic animals as well as many species that are native to Florida. Families will enjoy the informative and child-friendly classes and events that are a part of the visit.
You have heard of Tiffany haven’t you? Did you know there was a connection between Tiffany and Orlando? The works of Louis Tiffany, famed designer, has a collection housed in the Morse Museum of American Art. Here you can see Tiffany glass, clayware, and ornaments on display, including a unique chapel interior that was shown at the Columbian Exposition in 1893.
Nightlife in Orlando is outstanding. Two popular places are the Universal Citywalk and Disney’s Pleasure Island, both of which are open late. These offer visitors information on the Florida swamplands to the surface of Mars and much more. Train lovers will want to see the International Trolley and Train Museum. Lastly, a visit to the Mercado Center on International Drive, allows visitors to experience the Titanic Exhibition. Here you can see many relics from the famous ship as well as learn much more about what really happened.
