Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

After the Magic Kingdom is closed for the day, Mickey Mouse and a few special guests begin to really enjoy Christmas at the park. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party starts at 7 pm, after the rest of the guests have left, and those lucky enough to have a ticket to the event are able to enjoy live shows, a special parade, a slew of Disney characters, and a festive holiday fireworks display.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party occurs only a few nights during the week and runs through December 21 of this year. Special tickets are required and must be purchased in advance. The remaining evenings of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party include December 16, 18, 20, and 21, so party goers had better hurry to experience this holiday treat.

After the Magic Kingdom sends most of its guests home for the evening, those with party tickets are invited to stay and experience the wonder of the holiday season - Disney style. A new lights display on Cinderella’s castle is breathtaking to watch as the lights come on with great ceremony. Mickey and friends are joined by Cinderella for those special moments.

After watching the lights, journey down Main Street, but be ready for an adventure. It snows every night on Main Street, despite Orlando’s balmy weather. The snow may be chilly, but you can easily warm up with complimentary cocoa and cookies. Parents can sit back with their treats and enjoy the excitement of their children as they experience the magic of snow flurries in one of the most magical places on earth.

Warm up again as you enjoy live stage shows and be sure to find a good spot to watch one of the best Disney parades of the year, Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade. The parade includes a Christmas party scene, a winter sleigh ride, a bit of romance, more than a few holiday sweets and, of course, a grand finale complete with Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Tickets to the event are $47.95 for adults and children over 10 and $40.95 for children ages 3-9. Tickets can be purchased over the phone at 407-W-DISNEY or at the Disney World website.
