Magic Kingdom Tours

All four of the Walt Disney Resort theme parks offer guests several behind the scenes tours. These tours uncover the “secrets” of the inner workings of the parks and all the behind the scenes work needed to keep the magic alive. Many of these tours are restricted by age, so the magic isn’t ruined for the parks younger guests. Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling 407-WDW-TOUR.

Magic Kingdom Tours

Disney’s Keys to the Kingdom Tour
Duration: 4 1/2 - 5 hours
Cost: $60 per person.
Ages: 16 +

This walking tour includes a 1/2 hour lunch, takes guests backstage at many of the favorite attractions of the Magic Kingdom and shares some interesting stories about Walt Disney.

Disney’s Family Magic Tour
Duration: 2 1/2 hours
Cost: $27 ( ages 3 and up )
Age: All ages

This is an interactive scavenger hunt where guests have to search for clues to save the Magic Kingdom. A favorite tour for kids of all ages.

Mickey’s Magical Milestones Tour
Duration: 2 hours
Cost: $25 per guest
Ages: recommended for ages 10 and up

This tour takes guests on a journey through time and chronicles the history of Mickey Mouse. It follows the creation and career of Mickey.

Disney’s The Magic Behind Our Steam Trains Tour
Duration: 3 hours
Cost: $40 per guest
Ages: all ages

On this tour, guests can accompany the train engineers as they prepare the park’s steam trains for the day. Guests tour the backstage roundhouse where the trains are kept, and are treated to a train ride as they learn about how the steam trains became such an important park of the Magic Kingdom.
