Join the Pirate and Princess Party at the Magic Kingdom

Disney is offering both the young and the young at heart an opportunity to mingle and mix with royalty and rouges. On select nights from now through September 3, The Disney World Magic Kingdom will be turned into a collection of pirate coves and royal courts. Princesses and pirates will be everywhere and fans can enjoy trails of treasure and beads while meeting their favorite Disney characters.

Pretty Princesses
Disney has long been the source of romantic and beautiful princess stories, and now those stories come to life for countless young girls. During Disney’s Pirate and Princess Party, royal beads will be given to all the little princesses. All visitors will be handed an adventure map and treasure pouch to help them find the royal courts where these beads are carefully kept. All royal goodies are designed to for the young princesses to enjoy in the park and then keep as a souvenir.

Scurvy Pirates
For the most roguish of the family, Disney has created a true adventure. Adventurers can use the map provided upon entry to find hidden caches of goodies and treasure. Chocolate doubloons will be found in secret pirate coves and Disney will provide the kind of magical ambiance they are known for. The pirates of all ages can enjoy Captain Jack Sparrow’s Pirate Tutorial and Aladdin’s Royal Guard Recruitment while visiting with wandering rouges and rebels.

Princesses and pirates of all ages are encouraged to come in costume, although Disney encourages visitors to dress appropriately and in nonrestrictive attire. Each evening of festivities will include Disney’s Enchanted Adventures Parade and conclude with the Magic, Music and Mayhem fireworks spectacular. Some of the most popular attractions in the Magic Kingdom are available to party goers, and the Dream Along With Mickey castle stage show will be performed as well.

Entrance to Disney’s Pirate and Princess requires a special ticket separate from that of the regular day in the park. Tickets are discounted if purchased in advance and are available online.
