All About Orlando

Nothing speaks more powerfully during the holidays than the combined resonance of voices lifted in song. And that is exactly what you are able to experience this winter at Disney-MGM Studios. The Harlem Gospel Choir is a world renowned collection of many of Harlem’s finest singers. The singers originate from many of the area’s black churches and come together to celebrate their faith through inspiring songs.

This Christmas, The Harlem Gospel Choir is coming to Disney-MGM Studios. They have several special performances at the Theater of Stars, and this is just one major stop for the choir. The Harlem Gospel Choir makes it their mission to travel the globe bringing music and faith to others while, at the same time, raising funds to promote various children’s charities.

Their powerful voices are some of the most moving and inspirational musical styles heard around the world. They have been internationally recognized and even performed for His Holiness Pope John Paul II in 2003. They were recognized for their effors and contributions to charitable organizations.

Not only are they inspiring, the Harlem Gospel Choir is simply good entertainment. The songs will move you emotionally and physically, and you may even find it hard to stay in your seat throughout the performance. But that’s okay, movement is acknowledged and welcomed.

The Harlem Gospel Choir will be in Orlando for less than a month. Their stay will last from November 30 through December 25 with a total of three performances a night at 5 pm, 6pm and 7:30. With such huge credentials, this is truly an opportunity of a lifetime.

Spend the day touring Disney-MGM Studios, and then spend your evening tapping your toes and clapping your hands to some of the most moving holiday music you’ve ever heard. This is also one of the last opportunities to spend time in Disney-MGM Studios as the park will actually be renamed Disney’s Hollywood Studios in January 2008. The Harlem Gospel Choir also coincides with another Holiday special event at the park - The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights.
