Epcot Tours
Epcot at Disney World attracts guests of all ages, but adults often find this park to be more appealing than the others. Maybe this is because it offers just as many educational experiences as rides and attractions.
One of the best ways to get the most out of your visit to Epcot is to take one or more of the many “behind the scenes†tours that are offered daily. Below is a list of the park’s current tours. This list is accurate as of August, 2007.
Epcot Tours
Behind the Seeds at Epcot
Duration: About 1 hour
Cost: $10 ages 3-9
$14 ages 10 and up
Ages: all ages
This tour takes guests behind the scenes in The Land pavilion. You’ll have a chance to learn about all kinds of crops from across the globe, check out alligators, and release ladybugs in greenhouses.
Backstage Magic
Duration: 7 hours
Cost: $199 per person (includes lunch)
Ages: 16 and up
This popular tour begins at Epcot and also visits Disney-MGM Studios and the Magic Kingdom. During this tour, guests get a backstage look at all that goes into creating the special effects, rides, and entertainment at the theme parks.
The UnDISCOVERed Future World
Duration: 4-41/2 hours
Cost: $49 per person
Ages: 16 and up
This tours gives guests entrance into otherwise restricted backstage areas of Epcot. Learn about Disney’s vision and plans to build Epcot, the city of the future.
Seas Aqua Tour
Duration: 2 1/2 hours ( in water experience lasts 30 minutes)
Cost: $100 per person
Ages: 8 and up. Ages 8-16 must be accompanied by an adult.
This is truly a “behind the scenes†adventure, with guests immersing themselves in the Nemo & Friends aquarium. Guests dive into the aquarium for an up close look at the marine life in this coral reef environment.
Dolphins in Depth
Duration: 3 hours
Cost: $150 per person
Ages: 13 and up. Ages 13-18 must have a parent or guardian participate with them.
No swimming or scuba diving is required in this tour. Guests get into the water with the dolphins of The Seas with Nemo & Friends for an up close interactive learning experience.
Around the World at Epcot
Duration: 2 hours
Cost: $85 per person
Ages: 16 and up.
This unique tour includes Segway riding lessons and an outdoor tour of the World Showcase on a Segway Personal Transporter.
