Disney Raises Parking Rates
Posted on September 5th, 2007 by karyn kudrna
This past weekend, Disney World quietly raised it’s parking rates from $10 per car to $11 at all four of it’s major theme parks. Parking remains free for annual pass holders, and it is free for everyone at Downtown Disney, Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon.
Remember to save your parking receipt if you are leaving one of the parks and planning to return to the same park, or a different park in the same day. You won’t need to pay again, simply show your parking reciept at the gate.
This is the second parking rate increase at the Disney theme parks in less than 2 years.

Just a note / SECRET for you after reading your Disney parking information. I live in Florida and frequent Disney parks pretty often with my family and 2 children. We buy the annual family pass for our family of 4 and get the cheapest of the passes for three of us which have blackout dates during the really busy holiday seasons (which we avoid anyway). My youngest son (4) however we splurge and buy him the PREMIUM pass which costs about $59 more than and adult standard annual pass. What the big deal is that a Premium pass holder gets FREE parking. No more long parking lines and after 6 visits it pays for itself even if you give no value to the shorter lines and store discounts and other perks. The secret is that ALL DISNEY REQUIRES is ONE PERSON in your party to have the pass. Hope this is helpful to someone. We love Disney but saving a few bucks is always good!
