Are you planning a vacation to Orlando, Florida? If so, you are in for a treat. Orlando is simply full of exciting places to visit and one of the most famous is the Cypress Gardens Adventure Park.

You may not know it, but Cypress Gardens Adventure Park is Florida’s very first theme park. It has a long history of exciting visitors with both old and new thrills and adventures. This is one of the area’s most unique parks and visitors are awed by its nearly forty rides. The park is surrounded by some of the most beautiful nature settings and exhibits. A visit to the Splash Island water park is a treat that adults and kids simply love. There are a host of daily shows that are sure to please and entertain everyone.

Kids will love the experience. The park has rides that are appropriate for all age groups. When it comes to roller coasters, there are five to choose from, including the Triple Hurricane, the park’s wooden roller coaster. Visitors will be amazed when they ride the world’s tallest spinning rapids ride. The Thunderbolt, a 120 foot shot tower, will get any heart pumping. But there is much more than awesome rides at Cypress Gardens.

The park is set up in the classic fashion, which is something to see in and of itself. There is a boardwalk with plenty of family oriented shops and stops.

Tired of walking? Hop on board the Citrus Line Railroad which shuttles passengers around the park and then try the lovely Cypress Cove Ferry Line which offers a scenic water ride between the north and south ends of Cypress Gardens.

Some of the most unique and entertaining places to visit in the park are the historic botanical gardens and the Magnolia Plantation. You can take a stroll along Topiary Trail or you can surround yourself with hundreds of colorful butterflies in the lush foliage of Wings of Wonder.

No trip to Orlando is complete without a visit to the state’s most historic park, Cypress Gardens. Treat yourself and your family to a real taste of Florida fun.
