Christmas at the Pirate’s Dinner Adventure
The popular Pirate’s Adventure Dinner Theater in Orlando is taking on the holiday season in a big way. The Pirate’s Adventure Dinner Theater has been offering up delicious four course meals along with a swashbuckling good time for ten years, but now it is donning a festive mood and a few surprises to bring guests a truly original holiday experience.
The experience begins with an exciting preshow. A live nativity scene is set up in the courtyard along with festive holiday decorations. The show begins with an evil Magistrate trying to stop Christmas as the princess is kidnapped. A special elf, who just happens to be a pirate hopeful is called to the scene to help save Christmas and the princess.
In the center of a 300,000 indoor lagoon, winter has set in. Icicles and snow blanket the full size replica pirate ship and icebergs float nearby. Guests are led by their own pirate through a choreographed display of swordsmanship, acrobatics and battle as the pirates fight to save both the princess and Christmas. Will the elf make his dream of becoming a pirate come true? And will it happen in time to save Christmas?
The Pirate’s Adventure Dinner Theater is a family-friendly venue that is not only exciting to watch, but 150 guests are actually invited to don costumes and participate in each night’s show. Young children are invited to participate in the March of the Toy Soldiers and the show’s finale involves pyrotechnics and plenty of audience participation.
After the final show of the evening, a disco dance party kicks off. Guests can mingle with the stars of the evening as well as cut loose on the dance floor. What better way to experience the holidays than through a wild and exciting pirate adventure. Why be traditional when you can sample Christmas on the high seas?
The Pirate’s Christmas Dinner is $55.95 for adults, $35.95 for children under 11 and free for children under 2. You can celebrate Christmas the pirate way from November 1 through January 6. There are discounts available by reserving tickets online, and reservations are required 72 hours in advance of each show for the discount with all reservations required with at least 24 hours notice.
