Central Florida Zoological Park
This wonderful animal preserve is located minutes north of Orlando and is worth the little trip. Pack a lunch and spend the day, so you can bear witness to some of the Earth’s most exotic and exciting creatures.
The park opens at 9am and closes at 5pm, so you are able to take the whole day to explore the park. Take your time as you meander through the paths discovering the animals and creatures that now make the preserve their home.
The mission of the park is to preserve the beauty and wonder of the animals and their habitats. The people and the animals of the park like to share their knowledge and engage their visitors while celebrating the natural world. This park is for the whole family and each member will discover the wonder of the natural world while learning a few things.
While exploring the animal world, you will discover a variety of creatures, like:
•Towering elephants
•Kookaburra birds
•Reptiles from around the world

Once you have had a chance to explore the park on your own, be sure to hook up with the Planet Safari Tour where you will be guided by a trained Docent. This trained professional will take you for a tour around the park, while explaining the park, their mission, and the creatures that call it home. Make sure you ask any and all questions about what you have seen or if you have questions about certain animal behaviors; they can answer those too.
There is a picnic area for your convenience, so pack a lunch or grab something at their café and recharge under a shade tree as you decide the next area that you wish to discover.
A day at the Central Florida Zoological Park will be a great family day of fun and discovery.
