Universal Theme Parks in Florida are hosting a one-of-a-kind New Years celebration. You can bid farewell to 2007 and welcome 2008 at one of the most exciting Orlando destinations - Universal City Walk.

This New Years, Universal City Walk is hosting a huge party. Live music can be found in all of the clubs along the city walk, and gourmet food is served as an all-you-can-eat style feast. You can sample delicacies such as filet mignon, chilled shrimp and decandent desserts while listening to the musical stylings of special guests, the B-52s and Foreigner.

Universal City Walk has many different styles of clubs with many different kinds of festivities. Some of the more well-known and popular clubs include Jimmy Buffetts Margaritaville, Bob Marley-A Tribute to Freedom, Pat O’Brien’s, Red Coconut Club, the groove, Latin Quarter and CityJazz. WIth this many entertainment venues, you can easily spend all day and night on New Years Eve sampling the various atmospheres and offerings.

But when the final minutes start to tick away, the party will really get started. Universal City Walk provides hats, beads and excitement as 2007 becomes a thing of the past and 2008 begins. But to really make the moment special, a champagne toast and fireworks display are included in the night’s festivities.

To enjoy New Year’s Eve (and part of New Year’s Day) on the Universal City Walk, you can get tickets in advance or the day of - although advance tickets are always recommended for popular events at any Universal theme park.

Tickets to the New Year’s Eve party are $119 plus tax. There is an upgraded ticket available which included an open bar for an additional $60. This makes the ticket with unlimited food, drinks and fun a total of $179 plus tax. Finally, Universal does reserve the right to refuse you drinks if you’ve enjoyed the festivities too much, and you must be twenty-one years of age to attend the celebration.
