A New Recipe for Epcot
Epcot’s World Showcase at Walt Disney World has long been popular for its wide selection of ethnic foods and entertainment. Now, according to reports from the Orlando Sentinel, there are some exciting changes in the works for Epcot’s numerous restaurants and casual dining spots.
These changes, the first for Epcot’s restaurants since 1998, will include adding new dining establishments in Japan and Italy. The restaurant in Mexico has already added an expanded menu will be getting a tequila bar and outdoor seating near the lagoon soon.
In addition to these new restaurants and menus, Epcot is also making more subtle, but healthy, changes to many of the meals served. These include using less transfats, adding meals that will meet special dietary needs of some diners, and offering more fruit and vegetables.
